Reformer Pilates in Miami

Reformer Pilates at Kenergy uses a moving carriage, springs and a fixed frame to support or resist controlled movement. Learn what each part does and why setup matters.

The reformer can be used in private or group Pilates. Visit those pages for format-specific details, eligibility and booking.

The equipment, explained

How does a Pilates reformer work?

A reformer has a carriage that slides along a frame against spring resistance. The springs can help support you or add resistance, depending on the exercise. Your instructor guides the setup, pace and range of movement.

More spring tension is not always the goal. Learn to move with control rather than push the carriage as far as you can. Ask your instructor about the right setup for each exercise.

  • Moving carriage: the sliding platform used during each exercise.
  • Springs: adjustable support or resistance for the movement.
  • Frame: the fixed structure along which the carriage moves.

The reformer is Pilates equipment—not a class size or teaching format. The carriage moves along the frame while springs change the support or resistance for each exercise.

Your next step

Curious about the carriage? Start with a conversation.

Contact Kenergy with your Pilates experience, what you want to work on and whether private or group instruction interests you. Ask the studio to help you choose a starting point and confirm current availability.

An inquiry is not a booking. If you have reformer experience or have taken a private class with Karina, continue to the hosted Mindbody schedule and review the details before reserving.
